I have my own apartment and FH lives with his Mom; after wedding, he will move in with me and we will try to continue to help his Mom out financially but it will be very tough. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully, in the spring, we can start looking for a bigger apartment.
We have lived together for 4 1/2 years in the city and we rent our apt. After the wedding we will stay in our current apt with hopes of one day buying an apt.... and then eventually (not any time in the near future) moving out of the city and prob back to LI to buy a house...
FH and I live together in an apt for the last 1.5yrs. We are going to use the money that we get from the wedding plus whatever other money we save up from now until then and hopefully it will be enough to put down on a house. But who knows. its so expensive to live around here! we might need to stay on our apt. for a little while longer after the wedding to save as much as possible...

what are your plans after the wedding meaning are you going to buy your own home...condo...or rent??
i do not want to rent as i think thaat money can be saved for a house down payment so after the wedding i want to live in an apt in my house...FH perfers not to but after the wedding if we can afford to buy perhaps a condo maybe we will do that...otherwise its living here for about 2 years rent free to save....
fh and i live together. we own a co-op. it was the best investment weve ever made. It really helps having this apt making money and giving us somethign to fall back on.
WE each lived with our parents before the wedding. We bought a house in April, got married in July, and then moved in. We were remodeling our house during those 3 months.
we've lived together for a little over 4 years
we both live with our parents and then after the wedding we are moving into an apartment in my parents house. We plan on living there rent free for two years so that we can try to buy a house!
FH and I lived with our parents until the wedding. We never lived together and so our first night together was the night of the wedding. It was really special.

We live together in an apartment now. After the wedding we will start saving for a house and hopefully in 2-3 years we'll be able to buy one and until then just stay where we are.
FH and I live seperately but will be either buying a house or condo to live in. I dont think renting is worth it either. You can use that money for a house.
