I agree about the DJ. But I think the 1st thing I did after booking is order my dress. You also need to find an officiant that's free on that day. Good luck with everything!!!

i would go to band because the good ones go first- which goes for most vendors

Church, photographer, where you are getting your pics taken if you are going somewhere. Then the DJ. Then Dresses. Then flowers. That's the route I am taking.

we did, church, hall. photographer and limo..in that order. imo, get the most expensive stuff out of the way, and hold off on the little things. we just did limos b/c we'd be in the area so we figured why not, its just one less thing to worry about

Not sure if you are getting married at the hall or in a church but we had to kind of book the church at the same time...it was weird.

After that photo/video and DJ

We booked our photo/video, and now onto florist. Dress shopping needs to start soon for both of us, as gowns can take 12 months to come in!!

Remember, when dealing with photo, if you are getting married during 'prime' months, the 'good' photographers go fast

We booked our church when we booked our hall. Then we moved on to photographers... the good ones get taken quick! After that, we did dj, and we just finished the florist. Now we have to do limos.
