Afternoon Brides

My friend @ work just got engaged and wants to have a afternoon wedding like on a saturday. Can u ladies inform me how much does pp is a Saturday afternoon wedding. Thanks

According to my old price sheet from the Thatched Cottage, a Saturday afternoon wedding in October was $90.95 and in November it would be $70.95. These are without tax and tip and were with a min. of 150 people. These were for '09 and there weren't that many dates available.

It completely depends on the venue and time of year. Some Sat afternoons I've seen have been just as expensive if not moreso than an evening at another venue. I would say 60-90 is a good range.

ITA with the previous post. My RH is $100-125 pp for a Saturday afternoon in March (or other off season months) but jumps up for the more popular month. My sister got married at night at the Westbury Country Club and paid less than we are paying for a morning ceremony/afternoon reception. If she's looking at it as a cost issue, tell her to go with off months, usually January, February and March.
