Re: afternoon or evening reception?
ok....the FM....she's asking what would you prefer....
my answer...I personally for my wedding want an evening reception....i just always liked the idea of an afternoon ceremony...going taking pics...then heading over to the wedding and being able to enjoy everything, and be the nighttime princess (yes i do want the dream wedding, but will do everything within reason)...adn then i can onlyhope i'm not too tired, and not too drunk to head out to a bar with everyone afterwards

I'm having the same problem. I haven't decided yet. I love the idea of the afternoon, but the night keeps calling out to me. Party time!!!

Re: afternoon or evening reception?
here's the thing, i went to an afternoon wedding and it was daylight and it didn't really feel like a party to me. I mean people were dancing and stuff but i think it would have been more fun at night, plus some places rush you out so they can set up for hte next wedding. just something to htink about.

Re: afternoon or evening reception?
I agree with that. My cousin's wedding was an afternoon wedding and it really didn't feel like a party to me either. We were back at the hotel room by 9 and everyone in my family came to the room that my FH and I were in and we had gone to the liquor store and had our own after party!
