I was wondering for all of you brides who are having afternoon weddings are you having an after party and if so what are you doing. FH and I can't decide what to do or where to go. Our reception is at Westbury Manor so we don't want to be too far from there. Any ideas!

Our RH (an inn, actually) has a pub on-site, and will open for us whenever we want. The reception will by over by 9:30, so we figure we'll open up the pub at 10:30. Are you having OOT guests at a hotel? Maybe it has a bar and you can make plans for everyone to meet up there?
As another idea: I went to a wedding a few years ago where the bride's best friend, who lived nearby, had people over for beers and snacks. We all sat around talking about the fun stuff that had happened at the wedding, and about an hour into it the bride and groom came by, and we all listened to music and drank some beer and had a really good time. It was the 'young' crowd who went, though - not really any family, just friends. But that's what an afterparty typically is anyway, I think.
we are just gonna hang out at the bar in the hotel., so we can relax a bit

westbury manor has a restaurant/bar but I don't know if it is open to us to stay at and drink. I will have to inquire with my BM. Thanks for the tips. Keep them coming

We're having an after party since our wedding is on the 4th of July and it's a day wedding!! I can't wait for it actually!! It's in FH's Aunts backyard which is around the corner from our RH!!!!

we plan to! Nothing too crazy, we're hoping to have our guests stay at the wingate and they have a little bar area where who ever still feels like partying can hang out

i also don't know what we are doing. Live music in Hawaii has to end by 10:30 I think, it might be 10:00 I forget. I am thinking of having something after as well just not sur eyet

We are going to a hotel afterwards, with a bar in it. We did this for my FSIL's wedding. Her wedding ended at 5:00pm and we went there at 6:30 and were in the bar till 2:30-it was awesome!!!!!
