So, sort of good news bad news.... I haven't been on the boards a lot this week because my old cat (she is 12 now) got really sick and we had to rush her to the Vet on Sunday because there was blood showing up in her urine - we found out that she has a bladder infection - which is treatable and she also has diabetes - also treatable but will need insulin injections twice a day. The worst part is that she has never been out of our house since we first brought her home from North Shore 12 years ago and now this is her 3rd night away from home and I just know she must be so nervous and uncomfortable in the cage there. When I drove her she was crying all the way there. But..... good news is that she is supposed to be released tomorrow, I hope so!! I will keep you all posted. I can't even explain how a pet really is like another member of the family and how sad it is when they get sick So please, prayers for Coco to get her home tomorrow!

Oh I hope she's okay! My cat went to the vet because he had an infection and we had to give him medications for days and days and he hated it! They thought he had diabetes and I was freaking out. Luckily, they re-tested and found out he only showed up with that due to stress... but I can imagine how you feel and it is just terrible.
My cat is also a male.. so he had that urinary tract issue and needs specialized food. So, I know how hard it is to deal with. Sorry for what you are going through!

hope coco gets better soon!!!! i get really sad when I see my fur baby sick or sad. It breaks my heard. Pets do become family and we grow to love them just as if they were a human family member.

Thanks girls!!! She is still at the Vet - and we will find out if we can take her home tonight. She's been gone since Sunday night and I really just want her back home, I can't imagine how scared she must be :(

awww i hope your cat gets better!!! We just lost our pup =( so i defff know what you mean.. we paid someone to stay over night at the vet bc he is a night owl and would be so lonley. Then my mom would stay at the vet with him during the day lol.. they must have hated us.
