Again, I need you help ladies...

Below is a picture of my ceremony site and the my room at the Swan club.

My first question is Should I pay 300.00 for the arch in the picture or don't get one. Or have my florist do it in my colors (maybe he can be cheaper)

Second question, at first I was thinking about low centerpieces, now I think I want to go with something like the one shown in the picture. What do you think?

The place is beautiful.

The arch is very pretty. I would first find out the cost if the florist would charge and then make a decision.

I am doing a low centerpieces because I have always felt the tall ones blocks the view of people. I think that it cuts the room.

Re: Again, I need you help ladies...

I think it may be more expensove from the florist- but they might 'throw it in for you'- def ask..

As for the CP's.. define low and high? You can do a mixture for an eclectic look.. I am doing a mixture where one is slighly taller than the other one.. but my CPs are like 3 feet high..

I agree. I think you should talk to the florist first to see what they charge and then decide.

I am also doing low centerpieces as well.....

good luck!

Re: Again, I need you help ladies...

I have seen that room for the ceremony in person and I would suggest an arch. They also sell plain arches in the craft stores and you can then dress them up with tulle and flowers. As for the centerpieces, I would use low because the ceilings are low and you don't want to cramp people in with high CPs.

Re: Again, I need you help ladies...

How about making the arch of some of the arrangements that can then be put on the tables...like if the frame has a spot to sit the containers...then surround it with tulle. After the ceremony they can be broght tothe tables....
