Aggravated at BF (have to vent) Procrastination

I just have to vent.....my bf is wonderful in so many ways, but he drives me UP the wall w/ his procrastination.

I asked him to deposit $$ for me in my account & he said not a problem, will do (we were going to go on Sat, but then got sidetracked Christmas shopping). I said not a problem, as long as its in there by the 30th. OK honey, no problem at all.

Well the weekend went, I reminded him again on Monday & got attitude....'I know, I know.'

I left him a vm on Tuesday saying 'um I was checking my account online & they charged me a service charge, can you deposit an additional $25.'

Well I just spoke to him now & he has yet to do it. URRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! He said oh its in the envelope. I'll do it b4 work tonight.

Does anyone else have a dh/fh/bf like this?

Thank god my DH is not like that - but I learned from past boyfriends that if I want something done - I do it myself!

My DH is like that and i have learned to live with it. Getting things done around the house takes forever. Anytime we go to purchase something he will always be like lets research this, lets look around, lets take our time...well mind you we never wind up getting anything for a long time.

However i am very impulsive so sometimes it comes in handy to be this way. However, i also have learned how to do a lot of things around the house and just do them. That is what my mom told me to do because my Dad is the same way.

As for bills and banking, i do it all. I knew when i started dating him that he had good credit just paid about $1000 a year in late fees......so i take care of the checking, bills, etc.

Its really my DH only real issue that i can't stand, but everything else about him makes it worth it. However, this does cause the most issues in our relationship.

Thanks for sharing.....its tough.

He's great in so many other ways, but I'm so organized & it was something I would have done if I could have, but couldn't.

As of now, still not done.....URRRRRRRRR

I have the same thing!! It drives me crazy sometimes - but I love him to death and he loves me for all my faults too! But we did agree that I am in charge of paying bills, banks, etc.

That is too funny, my DH is the SAME way. He always has to research things and kind of takes the joy out of buying things.
But when it comes to money, he's very good. I would love to pass all my bills off to him. I'm usually on time with payments, but every so often it will slip my mind.

It takes training. You must train them. It's all in the psychology. The things you can't train them to do, do yourself.
