I called my doctor to make an appointment, and here are his hours of operation:
Tuesday through Friday - 9am to 3pm Saturday 10am - 1pm
Question: Do we treat our pets better than we do ourselves in this country? Why can't a doctor/dentist etc have the available hours that a vet has?????????????

I think it's awesome you have a doc open on a Saturday.
Is the vet office a single practice doc? Or is there more than one doc on call there?
is the people doc a surgeon?

some docs do rounds at hospitals, so their office hours reflect that.
in answer to your Q...some people do...some people don't.
If I could come back as an animal anywhere, I'd come back as a dog in Germany.

Your bunny is adorable! I forgot you had one, and her name. I showed pictures of her to DH months ago because we like bunnies.
Does she let you pick her up? I know someone at work who has one that they can't cuddle with or pick up, because it just squirms until they let go.

Our transgender confused rabbit does let us pick him (really her) up....she loves it. She honestly has a personality - we never thought rabbits did until recently. She answers to her name - but quickly loses interest. We bride her w/yogurt chips and strawberries and those are her favorites.
We'll leave her cage door open and she'll go in there to sleep, poop, or eat. She's really an awesome pet to have, even though she's preventing us from having a dog!

Dh and I take better care of our cats than OURSELVES. Cats go to the vet every 6 months, eat special food so as not to aggravate their health issues. They get zillions of toys, and are snuggled to pieces every night.
Us? We eat crappy fast food and only go to the doc when our bodies are ready to give out.

I just had to poin this out bc I thought it was funny!! I know you meant to say 'bribe' but look what you put instead. This is NWR, altho it's still a wedding site!!
Tho to answer your question, yes I do beleive that people take better care of their animals than they do of themselves. I mean, you go to make sure your pet has their shots and any sign of pain you rush them to the vet. However, a lot of people avoid going to the doctor for their check-ups and taking care of their own health.
