So Fh & I went to the melting pot for the first time ever last night... Never had fondue before, but we absolutely loved it... Now here's where the crazyiness comes in... what about doing that for my shower?
UPDATE: mom vetoed the idea with the quickness.. she doesnt think my 86 yr old gma will enjoy cooking her own food

I'm just thinking bc it gives guests something to do instead of sitting back and just watchin gifts being opened and so forth.... i personally think showers are so boring and have been wanting to do something 'different'... I just have to inquire about pricing, which im sure has to be

Not crazy. A bunch of girls from work went there for someone's bday one night and it was great. The only thing is that there were some people who were a little weirded out that they had to cook food and that it came to the table raw but I loved it. Especially the dessert part

i think that sounds like a great idea. i was thinking about having a b-day party there. Another fondue restaurant on long island is Simply Fondue, the website is www.simplyfonduelongisland.com , havent been there yet but it looks nice !

yeah, ive heard it.. sounds great! there's a place in sayville that does fondue that i was gonna try and rent for me e-party. fondue is awesome!
