Zoe just posted about the time that she puts on the reception card.
I put adult reception a 7 oclock in the evening.
thats the start of cocktail hour tho...
are ppl going to come at 6 assuming thats ch bc the card says reception at 7??? im confused and stressin!

no, ppl will come at 7. I don't think i've ever gotten reception cards that listed both. Ppl know that whatever time you put is what time the cocktail hour/whole event begins. Don't worry.

No, it's fine. CH is really part of the whole reception. People will know to come at 7

It will be ok I have never heard anyone cseperate the 2 due to the fact the cocktail hour is actually a part of the reception

I agree, CH is part of the reception. I didn't put a CH or reception time on my invitations either. I just put what time the ceremony was starting, and at the bottom put 'Cocktail hour and reception to follow'

no you put the start time for guests to arrive as the time that the cocktil hour begins as that is the begining of your evening!

I really feel better that all of you are responding that i am basically not nuts!
i had such a hassle doing those invites and im just so happy that they will be here hopefully the end of this week! and I didnt mess anything up!
