Ok..sorry to be a pain in the butt..here is my question. I plan on skipping my period the mth of my wedding (JULY 14th) I got 3 mths worth of BC today and after the 2mth of pills I have to make an appt to get a pap smear and a follow up..then the Dr. can give me more pills...ok...so I was thinking of starting the pills next month (MAY 1st)..then I will take the pills for (JUNE)...then as I get into my third pack of pills my sugar pill begins the day that I am suppose to get my period, which is also my wedding day July 14th...so will I get my period if I skip the sugar pill the day before the wedding and go into the reg. pill?? Or,when should I skip the sugar pills in order to miss my period in July?>? Hope that makes sense..thanks girls

you should ask your doctor. I'm skipping now, so I don't have to worry about it then. Don't know what kind of pill you use, but I'm way bloated from skipping my period, so I recommend not skipping around your wedding if you can avoid it.

If you can skip the month before, you will get your period the week before your wedding. This way if you get cramps spotting or anything it will happen the month before, good luck!

I am doing the same thing - I went back on the pill just to avoid my period. My doctor told me that when I finish the pack in June, skip the June sugar pills and go right onto the next pack and I should not get my period in July at all.
I happen to be on a BC schedule of getting my period the week of my wedding/HM.
Just to be on the safe side to make sure what my doctor suggested actually will work, I am testing it out this month.
You should ask you doctor though

I believe if you don't take the placebo, then you won't have your mensis. There are side effects with doing things like that.....you may want to consider the patch instead...it's easier and less of a hassle.
