Ahhhh I suck at life !

FH's birthday is this wednesday and I had made reservations at Todd English's restaurant Cava and bought tickets to see Wicked which we have both been dying to see.

I was able to keep it a secret for WEEKS until last night when he was sitting next to me when I was on the laptop and I accidently clicked a new email which was an event reminder for this wednesday

He couldn't lie and said he saw it so I ruined his birthday surprise two days before the dayyyy. So mad

The good part is YAYYYY I get to try Todd English's restaurant and see Wicked this wednesday!!

Aww that sucks but it's the thought that counts. Wicked is awesome! FH took me to see it for my birthday and I loved it.

I know, everyone who's seen it RAVES about it. I got Orchestra seats we'll be ballers for a night

Oh no! Oh well, it'll still be a great time! I ruin surprises because I just get too excited about them and end up telling FH.

After trying my dress on it was SO hard not to tell him all about it, I was literally rolling on the floor begging him to let me tell him

Omg that's like FH whenever he has a surprise! One time he ordered me flowers and called me like every hour and asked if I had gotten anything yet.

FInally at 4 o'clock he couldn't keep it in and blurted out 'you were supposed to get flowers today!' Sure enough I got them like 10 minutes later Poor impatient dork!

Omg It's going to be so hard not to talk about the dress to him!!! He went with me once so I can guage what he likes and he's dying to know what I end up with

awe sorry you slipped but you will have an awesome time!!!!

FH cant keep a surprise secret as soon as he orders something he says guess what i got you .... or everyone gets there x mas gifts weeks early as soon as they come in the mail he doesn't wrap them just gives them

Hahaha that's so cute! FH tries to surprise me but he's not very subtle about anything. I guessed all my Christmas presents, and knew when he was going propose, and usually know if he's sending flowers to work coz he asks for the address every time

When are you going dress shopping again? You didn't get it yet right?

Omg FH actually managed to hide the proposal/ring from me but again, his impatience won in the end. He had planned an elaborate proposal in our new home but couldn't wait any longer (literally a couple of hours) so he just popped the question in our apartment while I was cooking eggs

Then he told me how he was GOING to propose and I was left thinking 'man, that's so much better'



Oh, and I'm taking next tuesday off to go with my mom to RK Bridal and Kleinfelds Hopefully I find something soon!

FH is the same! I don't ever remember getting a wrapped present from him! He will either buy something on the spot or get me something I asked for.

i'm the same way! the bpics thing lasted about a day as a surprise and then i caved...

its the thought that counts and you planned an amazing night!!!

Awwww No worries Im sure he was still surprised at the plans and Im sure he will be very excited! You put a lot of thought into it and thats awesome!! Have a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sure Anney that even thouh he saw it the surprise its not spoiled!!!
he will enjoy it and everything will be like he did not knew about it!!!!

no, I haven't been to RK and wanted to go on a weekday since they don't take appointments and am hoping it'd be less crowded? I don't really like it when people fuss over me so it might be a little overwhelming at kleinfelds to tell you the truth. I went to their blowout and I couldn't take all the compliments by random salespeople

I just want to go back because I want to try on some of the michelle roth dresses
