247 on my list and 200 is the max I can have!!!! I'm stressing. I can only find 14 people I can put on the B list.

They do say that 20% of your invitees won't come... If that's true for you - you'll be at 197.

Something like 20-30% is the average decline rate.

Some of FH's family is elderly and they won't come. Not sure how many though. He added all of these people I don't know- like his mom's 2nd cousins. I know they are very important to his family though and have to be invited.

I wish I could just have a small wedding and not invite extended family I never talk to. My friend is inviting about 80 people to her wedding and I'm very jealous. She kept the list to immediate friends and family only.

If the '20% decline rule' is true, you will be at 197. Right in there!

yea i agree... you always say ok good i'll have maybe 50 people or so not show up so i'll send out all these invites.. but you don't want to take that chance! It's def. gonna be hard to cut that list.. but i think you may have to try.. i would at least try to get it down to 225-235.. this way you have a better chance of maybe having less than or around 200 ppl. It's def. hard.. i'm sorry
