Re: ahhhhhhhhh Bach Party What a pain the arse
oh please, we have to cancel the limo because not enough people are going and therefore its too much.
Dinner is a fiasco, because pre-fixed dinners does not happen on sat nights in freeport. Im trying to keep it as inexpensive for everyone.
some people are just coming to dinner, one girl said she cant come because its too close to the wedding and she cant afford it. which is bs because she is bringing some guy she doesnt know to the wedding, just so she can have a date.
My opinion drop the guy and use the money to go to the bachelorette.
Anyway, I think Im going to forgo the bachelorette party and just chill

Oh really? well, do you guys plan on staying on the strip the entire night? You should go there after dinner.,. you could go and have a couple of drinks and stuff.. =)
Oh dear.. I feel bad.. but you shouldn't have to worry your pretty little head about this.. your MOH and bm's should be.. you have enough to go through with one month to go.. =(

oh no!!! It'll be great.. don't worry about it!!!
I'm getting really excited myself.. all the good and fun things are coming up..
Barbara is good.. she's working alot, has a new bf that she's been with alot and just trying to come to terms with the whole Marcella's getting married bit.. It's really starting to hit her.. she breaks out into this big smile everytime we talk about a house, or kids or the whole 'husband' wife talk lol but she's doing great..

Marcella, it really is all exciting. I just want to be married, and start a home of our own.
THats the best part.
Oh good for her, your sister was and is always a sweet heart.. She always had a good head on her shoulders.
Hey did you ever call Paola for the makeup?
Just wondering. My dear your big day is approaching.

Re: ahhhhhhhhh Bach Party What a pain the arse
Yeah, she is.. although I tell you D, she may have a good head on her shoulders but she is soo naive and has no common sense sometimes.. I wanna kill her sometimes lol
You know.. I never called her.. I went for a few trials and to be honest, I'm doing my own make-up that day.. I HATE foundation.. and I do a better job than most of the people that I've been to.. they didn't do what I want and gave me that typical 'bride' look that I DON'T want.. I'm going for a very natural look on that day.. I don't want to touch anything up and I'll be tan too.. just put lipgloss on thats it! It's too hot to be wearing so much make-up in August.. I think I may just go to Bloomies and get some tips with a pic that I have of how i want it and buy the stuff and do it myself. =)
It's so funny you should say that though cause I told barbara that you referred me someone and she was like 'it's not at MAC right?' I was like no, she goes, me and diana went to Mac and got our makeup done and we were both soo white! lol

Marcella you are adorable and pretty I think lip gloss and a little blush would be perfect. You are too funny.
Oh leave little Barbara alone
I dont remember going to Mac thats too funny. But you know I think that was when they gave me the supe high gloss lipgloss that my lips stuck together.

Wacky, the same crap happened to me. Everyone bailed out the week before my bachelorette party for one reason or another, with the exception of 3 really good friends. My sisters weren't up for the 'party' part of anything, so we ditched the limo idea, stayed local, and had a big dinner with my sisters, then they left, and I went out with a very small crowd...you know what? It was BETTER. No stress about keeping a gazillion people happy, no stress about money, we just went out, got completely obliterated and that was that!
What's bugging me is that you are the one making the plans.

Re: ahhhhhhhhh Bach Party What a pain the arse
Every bachelorette party I have ever planned has had these stupid problems!! The first one the bride was being impossible -- she said if we can't go to Atlantic City for the weekend, I don't want anything! -- I was happy giving her nothing w/ that attitude, but my friends had a soft spot and made it happen.
Then for the last wedding I was in one of the BMs kept *****ing about $$$$ meanwhile we didn't have to pay for her shower (unexpectedly) so she shouldn't have been complaining about anything - she should have saved the $$ like we all said we would. We ended up having a party in the Bride's house!
Another one insisted on flying somewhere - so only 2 of her 11 BMs were willing to go (I was one of the 2, of course).
Its always a fiasco

Re: ahhhhhhhhh Bach Party What a pain the arse
ok this is what we are doing my moh is booking dinner in long beach and then we are just staying in long beach
thats it, all this bs is done now.
Misteyed, thats exactly what I was just saying now to moh. Its ridiculous though because I love going to BP's its always a great time.
But thats exactly what I was thinking smaller is better.
thanks babe.
Marcella, J-LO is good I need a little more makeup, between my freaking facial hairs and no lips I need help

The same thing happened to me! I think 20 girls were invited. Only 5 could make it to dinner. And only 3 went out after. (With good reasons) I don't buy that no money crap. It's not like she didn't know it was coming up. SAVE!!!!!! Dubliner came to my dinner & she's getting married next week!!!
Just remember that even if it's just a few good friend it will still be fun. I had a BLAST!!!!!!!!
