Tell me again why I thought getting married in the winter was a good idea????

because pictures in the winter are AMAZING!!!!!
there is nothing like a bride and groom with a whinter white background......
it'll be fine
(and if makes you feel any better - i chose april to get married in and i might be a winter bride also it this year is anytyhing like last year!!! )

LMAO palebride.....you're right.... I saw a pic & fell in love w/the idea of a winter wedding.

BTW... I worked a wedding the 1st weekend of April last year & it did snow The good thing is that people were so used to it by then it didn't even phase them!!!!!

I did have to shovel snow by our evergreen garden so the bride could have her pics though!

now it's my turn to say AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
We're getting married the first wek in April and I just know it's going to snow! Oh well....no outside wedding for me and TOm I guess!
We actually went to our hall last year on the weekend that we would be getting married and there was not a flower in sight! I think one tree had one blossom on it!
Oh well!!!
At least, no matter what the weather, at the end of it all, we'll be married to our ture loves.......

Palebride, I just have to tell you this story...I waited to buy my new truck until April when the winter was over. The day after I picked it up it snowed!! I wanted to kill myself. The nice thing about April snows, though, are that it is warm and the snow doesn't last. It looks really pretty though. Especially all over my brand new car!!

Now i'm remembering an April when i went up to visit some friends in Albany....and I didn't bring a jacket. Sunday morning I woke up to a foot of snow on the ground!!!!!!!!!!!

Please pray that I will get my spring wedding.
And I'll pray that the snow treats all of you winter brides well!!!

OK, I know this may be too much to ask, but I would like snow, but just flurries, and nothing that sticks to the ground and no ice onthe roads.......is that too much to ask for??????

DeeDee, back me up on this one......

Alicia....you can wear your fur cape even if it soesn't snow silly girl! I have fur on my coat, too.....

Maybe if the three of us pray for only flurries.......

Don't say that!!! We purposely picked April because we figured the chances of that happening again are too slim. I DON'T want a snowy wedding!!!!!
