It was supposed to start a few days after the wedding but I got sick a few months ago and my cycle was thrown off. Now I'm back on track and it's due the DAY of the wedding. I'm not on the pill so I can't even try to manipulate it. Ugh - so mad

I am totally in the same boat. We can't do anything about it. We could always get pregnant this month. Nay, I'd rather have it for the wedding.

same thing happened to me. And I wasn't on the pill, so the day it starts I always get these bad cramps and headaches. I wanted no part of that on my wedding day. I went on the pill for 3 months so I was able to skip it for the wedding and honeymoon.

I found this on Ehow
How to Delay Your Menstrual Cycle Step1---Go on a diet. Low body weight is a reason why many women do not have a regular period. Females who are below their recommended weight often miss having their period for a couple of months at a time. These women have a diet that is too low in fat. So, losing weight can prevent someone from having a period.
Step2----Exercise a lot. People who do strenuous exercise often do not get their period. Many professional athletes, such as gymnast, do not have a regular menstrual cycle because they are so active and they train a lot. Some may also have a low body weight. If you start exercising all the time, you can delay your period.
Step3----Be stressed. Stress is a reason why many women do not get their period. Stress lowers estrogen level, which causes some women to miss their monthly menstrual cycle. Stay busy and don't relax at all. Let yourself be stressed out. The stress will cause a delay in your menstrual cycle.
Step4----Take Seasonale. Seasonale is a new birth control pill that confines your menstrual cycle to four times a year. A woman has to take an active pill everyday for 84 days. Then take an inactive people everyday for seven days. The pills have to be taken everyday around the same time. The menstrual cycle only comes during the four times a year when the woman is taking the inactive pills. As with a traditional birth control pill, the woman's flow will most likely be about the same when they do have their period. It shouldn’t be any longer or heavier than normal.
Step5----Get pregnant. If you really do not want a period, you can have a baby. A woman can delay having a period for at least nine months while she is pregnant. Only do this step if you are ready to have a baby and can provide a stable environment for the baby. Otherwise, this step may not be for you.

Same with me.. I'm not on the pill cause i've gotten horrible headaches and spotting. But I just realized that I'm going to get it while on my honeymoon! so I just decided to suck it and got pills to take so that I dont get it at all during that time.

I think it's too late to do this even if I wanted to. I hate all the chemicals in the pill. My mom told me to get some Depends, lol, and for a moment this sounded like a brilliant idea.

#1and #2 I am way too late for!! Low body weight. Yeah right!! #3 - stress. hasn't worked yet for me. #4 - don't have a gyn #5 - that was my thought but I would rather take my dress off 50 times.

Depends....hmmm I didn't think of that. Won't be able to see that under my dress. Maybe that's an option.

Re: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Aunt Flo due the day of
supposedly how to naturally delay it
Step1-------Rid yourself of the notion that you will be able to delay menstruation without the use of birth control pills or other hormonal agents. The truth of the matter is that the only surefire way to delay your period is by keeping your progesterone levels high. During a normal menstrual cycle, bleeding begins when the levels drop. Women on the Pill induce this by having a 'withdrawal week' in their Pill pack.
Step2--------Talk to your doctor at least a week prior to when you expect your period if you plan on delaying it via hormonal means. Progesterone levels begin to drop at least seven days before your period actually begins, so you'll need to start supplements soon.
Step3--------Determine whether preponing menstruation will solve your problem. Just as postpone means to make something happen later than expected, prepone means to make it happen sooner. In some situations, preponing your period (inducing it early) may be a reasonable compromise. Know, however, that this process should be attempted about two weeks prior to your normal due date in order to give you enough time to finish the flow.
Step4---------Prepone menstruation with the use of herbs. Anecdotally, tea brewed of parsley leaves has induced menstruation in woman. Steep a handful of fresh parsley leaves in a pot of boiled water for about 30 minutes. Strain the tea and drink three to four strong cups throughout the day.
Step5-------Use ginger and yarrow to prepone menstruation. It's not recommended that you try all of these herbal remedies at once, but if one doesn't seem to work, try something different. Just like with parsley, you'll need to use fresh herbs, brew a tea and drink it

Here's something I found
An incantation I came across in one of my calendars I thought might be appropriate here - Incantation to stop blood flow from the Kalevala
Listen, O blood, instead of flowing instead of pouring forth thy warm stream Stop, O blood, like a wall, stope like a hedge. Stop like a reef in the sea: like stiff sedge in the moss, like a boulder in the field, like the pine in the wood.
This incantation can be modified and made your own. It is the vocalizing of the desire, not the actual words, it is the intent behind what is spoken that gives the words their power. This incantation may be to stop the flow of blood from wounds on a battlefield, I know not the author's intent, but as mentioned, it is easily modified to suite your own needs. Words like womb or uterus can be added to help focus your intent. If you make some modifications and would like to share it with others I would be happy to include it here, just send it on over.
I almost wet myself when reading this.

I might double up on my pills, or have my GYN give me something to make it come earlier. YAY! Thank god because I am suppose to get it on my wedding day, which means I will have it for my honeymoon. NO WAY IN HELL!
