AHHH!INVITATION STUFFING!!!

I just did a search about invitation stuffing and am more confused now than ever!!!!Will someone answer the following questions for me before I drown in a sea of tissue paper and enclosure cards?!!??

#1. Do you seal the inner envelope or just leave it open for easy access??

#2. Will I go to etiquette hell if i dont use tissue paper with a laser printed invitation?

#3. Which card, reception or rsponse, lies closer to the actual invitation??

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Re: AHHH!INVITATION STUFFING!!!

Ok, I can answer your first two questions:
(1) No, you don't seal the inner envelope
(2) I've read online that tissue paper is just a formality and not necessary anymore. I think if you include it, that's great, but not absolutely necessary anymore.
(3) Response or reception card closer to invite? Hmm.... I think reception card, but I'm not sure. I'll have to defer to the experts on this board.

Hope this helped!

1-No you don't seal the inner

2-Tissue paper was used in the old days to stop the ink from smearing on the invite. It is not neccesary, however, I think it looks nice.

3-As for the layout of the cards, I too saw at least 3 different ways to do it, and this coming from different ettiquete sites & from here.
I chose to put the reception card closer to the invite.

Re: AHHH!INVITATION STUFFING!!!

The women that I ordered my invites from told me to put the reception card on top of the invitation and then the response card on top of that.
