I never would have guessed ! I am such a bad mommy-- he had a bad cough and started vomiting-- so I took him to the Dr's thinking it was the flu. She told me double ear infection -- I was surprised. She said all of the syptoms he was having were from the infections. My poor baby is so miserable -- and so is mommy!!!! Having your 20 month old under the weather is NOT FUN !

Aw! I hope he feels better soon. Try not to feel guilty, it's so hard to know. A month or so back Luke had a double ear infection and a chest infection and we had no idea. Sometimes the symptoms arent obviously pointing to what it is. You brought him to the Dr. and you got a professional to tell you, that's good Mommying. I think after they've had a lot of different things, you eventually get to the Dr. Mom status where you start to diagnose stuff based on experience.

Gosh, that's no fun for either of you! I've been through it twice already with Maiah. Poor kid, all she did was lay on my chest for about 5 days!! Hope he's feeling better soon!

I'm in the same boat with you....Paul has had a bad cold since last week, and now Mommy has it too! We were at the doc's office last week, just to make sure there are no ear infections....but, we're probably gonna end up there THIS week, too b/c I don't see him getting that much better
This all started b/c of his darn two year molars - he's in so much more pain than any other tooth he's cut Poor kid!

Feel better Aidan. I just went through it with Annalise. The symptoms of ear infections sometimes have nothing to do with ears.

AWE. poor Aidan!!
I hope he feels better soon. When JA had a double ear infection, I also had NO idea. He was in great spirits and showed no signs of pain or discomfort. I had just brought him in for a followup checkup so I felt bad too. But we cant always know, we do the best we can.
