Air Jamaica

Hi ladies,
Does anyone have experieince with Air Jamaica?
Good, bad?
We are taking that airline for our honeymoon.

I flew Air Jamaica a few summers ago out of JFK. The filght down we had no problems and everything went smoothly. Coming home was another story. It wasn't Air Jamaica's fault but there was a delay because of a strorm along the east coast (mostly NY causing delays), I only found this out after I arrived home in NY.
What I didn't understand was why no one could tell us what the nature of the delay was from the airport in Jamaica. We were suppose to fly into JFK at 8pm of Fri night and did not get to JFK until 6am on Sat morning so it was a very long wait in the airport in Jamaica and no one was telling us why we were delayed.
I hated the fight home, it was very turbulant and I am not a 'good' flyer to begin with and now at this point I was overtired from being stuck in the airport all day and just want to sleep but they had problems with the air conditioning on our plane and it was so hot. You think because there was a delay they would have time to fix any sort of problems with the plane. So this is my one horrible travel story I have to tell.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Air Jamaica. Been on that airline at least 5 times.

we liked Air Jamaica... we also hit some turbulance on the way home which was caused by storms over Cuba... anyways, the service was very nice, we had a good experience overall...
