airbrush

airbrush

I was originally planning to do airbrush makeup for the wedding, but I just spoke to a makeup artist and she advised me against it. She said during the hotter months the oil from the makeup tends to melt?

Can anyone else enlighten me on this topic? I always thought people said it was better because it's lighter and it won't get all gooey on your face.

Not sure about the hot weather making it run, but my make up artist advised against it unless you have bad skin. She said if your skin was pretty much 'normal' its much better to go with regular make up. I was set on airbrush though ;/

I was married in June and I had a hot humid day and my airbrush makeup stayed perfect. all i did was touch my lipstick up and blotted my face with oil paper pad things.

I got airbrush makeup for our epics and we were outside for about 5 hours taking pics in 90 degree weather and the makeup didnt melt.

I was told the exact opposite the airbush make up my makeup artist used was silicon based not oil based.

Mine said the same thing to me. And she could've made a lot more money doing airbrush, but she was just being honest. I was kind of set on it too.

Hmm, I'll have to ask her about that. Maybe she only does the oil based one?

I was so set on airbrush too.
