This may be a stupid question, but how do the pros apply airbrush makeup? Is it sprayed directly on your face? CVS has Sally Hansen airbrush makeup on sale this week. The direction on the can say to spray in your hand & apply to your face. I had assumed it was sprayed right onto the face, kind of like spray paint.

Re: Airbrush makeup
It's sprayed onto your face. I think some of the girls on here tried the Sally Jensen one and didn't like it. Do a search.

Re: Airbrush makeup
I also tried the Sally Hansen airbrush- it was greasy and didn't stay on, so I threw it out after the first application.

Re: Airbrush makeup
I didn't like air brushing. It felt very heavy on my face.

Re: Airbrush makeup
Professional airbrushed make up is very good quality and very expensive. It doesn't feel heavy, looks very even and does not budge.

Re: Airbrush makeup
I bought the Sally Hanson airbrushing and I really didn't like it. The real airbrushing is sprayed directly onto your face. I had a trial done with Jacquline Nicole and I loved it. It felt like I wasn't even wearing makeup.

Re: Airbrush makeup
Jacqueline Nicole did my makeup for my wedding. I had the airbrushing done. It was great!! I felt like I had nothing on my face, it was not greasy at all and it lasted all day. I highly recommend it.

Re: Airbrush makeup
I had the airbrushing done for my make-up trial. It was very light and lasted all day but my fiance said it looked too cakey. Personally I think I'm going to have traditional make-up done. The make-up artist also told me airbrush will not cover imperfections as well - it is made for perfect skin.
