Airbrush makeup question

Did the airbrush makeup make your skin feel greasy? did you set it with powder after the machine sprays the liquid? On my first try with the airbrush I felt very oily. Did anyone with oily skin have a problem with that, especially around the 'T' zone i.e. nose, side of nose to cheeks?

I have combination-oily skin and I felt that the airbrush makeup made my skin extremely greasy! She did set it with powder, but I didn't think it helped.I WILL NOT be having my makeup airbrushed!

So how do us combo skin girls deal with the makeup without having to pat powder on every 20 minutes?!?!?!
I thought that the air brush would work for me, no worries... Now I am worried

Ok, I actually spoke to JN tonight because I thought maybe she had an opening for my day but boo hoo she is still booked! BUT, I did ask her about the greasy problem. She said that sometimes they put Jojoba oil with the airbrushing and if you have greasy skin they should not put that in the machine and they can powder you to decrease the oil. She said anyone trained the right way would know what to do with your makeup if airbrushed so don't worry about it if you are using JN just let her know you have greasy skin!!!

I have terrible skin-part oily, part dry, break out often. I loved the way the airbrush looked and lasted. Didn't notice a greasy look, but I will take something in my purse to powder down, just in case.

Some of the pores on the sides of my nose seemed a bit noticable with the makeup on (I notice them whenever I wear foundation-which is rarely). I've been using a pore minimizer, and it looks like it's working.

Jennifer at Fairytale does airbrush, too. I really liked the way I looked at my trial and booked her on the spot.

THAT IS THE BIGGEST reason NOT to have your makeup airbrushed! Not only will that make you look like you are slithering up the aisle, but it is sooo bad for your skin, and could probably clog your pores! Ewww!

Even if you are having someone apply your makeup on the day of your wedding, insist on OIL-FREE foundation. It definitely cuts down on the 'shiny-nose' syndrome and is much better for your skin. Also, use Lancome T-zone Mattifer under foundation. It is a miracle product!
