For those of you who have had makeup trials for both... airbrush and regular... could you please tell me which one you liked better and why?

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
I had airbrushing done. I loved it!! My face makeup didn't budge all day. The only thing I had to reapply was lipstick. Jacqueline Nicole did it and I highly recommend it and her. She is a vendor on here.

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
Is it much different than having regular foundation put on your face? I had a trial done with regular makeup and after about 1 1/2 hours I noticed that the foundation around my eyes got cakey... and you could see the wrinkles around my eyes even more than normal.. I was wondering if the airbrushing would be different... Thanks.

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
I had both and I like regular makeup...i know i am probably the minority. I just felt regular makeup looked more natural...I dont wear too much makeup normally so the airbrushing I felt was too much.

The airbrushing is actually sprayed on, I had a trial with it, I liked it, although I'm not a make-up wearer so it was strange seeing myself with it.
ETA I kinda felt like a porcelain doll (sp?)

That's my concern too. Does airbrushing look like you have more make-up on?

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
The airbrush actually felt lighter to me.. and that was what I used for the wedding day.
It was great and lasted all day and evening. I think it depends on what type of regular makeup is used by your makeup artist.
I suggest getting trials with both, then go out dancing and see which one holds up better. You will get a really good idea, and look great for 2 nights out dancing with your friends or FH

I had the trail with airbrush and it didn't look like more make up... You can have it applied heavy or light depending on your skin... I don't wear too much usually either, but this was nice.

Does the airbrush get cakey like regular makeup or is it totally different?

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
It was definately less cakey, but to be honest, I had my trial later in the evening and I only left it on for a few hours...

I had airbrushing also. My makeup stayed all day- I had to SCRUB my face to get it off!

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
I'm going with regular makeup. Just a personal choice. I've seen brides who have had their makeup airbrushed and have looked gorgeous.

Re: Airbrush Makeup vs. Regular
I'm also going with the regular make-up. My FH saw my airbrush trial and said it looked too heavy (it felt light though). Also, I was told you have to have good skin to use airbrush - regular gives better coverage. I was also told they both last the same amount of time.
