Airbrush or not????

Airbrush or not????

Is airbrush better then having regular makeup?? What are you girls getting and why? I know that airbrush obviously looks more natural and lasts longer but then I heard that if you even get a tear drop on it it'll look streaky and I am a waterfall!!

i had airbrush for my sisters wedding and my makeup was flawless. i did have a few tear lines down my face but nothing a little powder touchup couldnt fix. IMO its totally worth it!

i like it better bc for me it feels lighter. i don't wear much makeup to begin with so this was the most natural feeling for me

i had airbrush for my sisters wedding and loved it as well. it was very light and stayed on all day. i thought i was only going to look for mu ppl who did airbrush but then i saw oksana who doesnt do it but uses special high def makeup or something and i felt like it was the same...very light and stayed on all day!

I think no matter what makeup you go with if you cry it will streak a bit. Just make sure you take a compact with you. Or better yet, make sure your MOH takes your compact with her! You have enough to worrry about

with airbrush you won't though...during my trial my mother said the same thing then my makeup artist started spraying me with water and nothing ran, it really stays on!

i used airbrush for my epics and it was 90 degrees that day. i was sweating so much, i'm very oily to begin with, i have acne scars and acne and it was perfect! i wouldn't think of using anything but the airbrush

yes, i had 2 airbrush trials and loved them. makeup felt light, matte and didn't rub off. it stayed for over 13 hours

ive actually always heard the contrary. its supposed to stay very long. i think the thing is that is a makeup artist is not experienced specifically with airbrush, you wouldnt want them doing it because it could have the opposite effect than its supposed to (heavy and comes off fast)

im personally going with airbrush

i got airbrush for my epics (you can see my e-pics), and i LOVED it!!!! i usually get oily after wearing makeup for a long period of time and with airbrush absolutely no shine at all!!!! i got it done at noon and didnt take it off until around midnight and it still looked perfect!!!

I had airbrush done for my trial and epics (i'll have them back tomorrow!) and I LOVED IT!!!! It felt so natural - like nothing was on my skin - and looked flawless. I got it done in the morning and by 11pm it still looked the same. Even FH couldn't believe it!

MY makeup lady told me that i dont need it because i have good skin! I specifically went in saying i want it because i keep hearing everyone talk about it. It's more expensive and she would make more money off of me for it, so i believed her when she said it would be a waste of my money for me to get it!

i had the same thing said to me, but honestly if you get shiny after hours with makeup i would recommend it 100%, i think it even last sooo much longer

Thanks girls!! I have a trial coming up in a few weeks and the makeup artist only uses airbrush, I feel much better now! Joanna, I have the same problem, I tend to get shiny after having reg. makeup on for a long period of time so I was very happy when I read ur post! Thanks again girls!!

I have used airbrush for the past few weddings Ive been to and my e-pics. I love it! I makes my skin look flawless and it lasted the whole day. I would try it out.

I had airbrush done for my b-pics. I did not like how it looked in person at all. It photographed very well, but in person it looked very dry and caked on and fake. I wanted a glowy look for my wedding day. I didn't want to just look good in pictures, I was going to be seen by 150 people I wanted to look amazing in person too. My wedding day makeup artist used regular foundation. I'm pretty sure she uses Laura Mercier foundation.

I agree. I had regular MU for my e-pics then had another trial with airbrush. When FH saw me with the airbrush, he was like, what is wrong with your face? I have good skin so I think I'll be good with the regular mu. I want it to look natural in person...I didn't get that with the airbrush but everyone's different.

i really don't know wat to do about this. I know I'm going to be crying uncontrolably and I thought airbrush was better in that instance...but now i have no idea

I think it all depends on your skin type and the time of the year. Airbrush is great for the summer but in the winter it can be drying. Go for a trial and give both a try to see what looks best on your skin. I personally prefer airbrush for summer months and regular makeup for winter but that is just me.
