Re: Airbrush or Regular???
When airbrushing is done well, it will NOT look heavy at all.
ETA: Michelle from House of Trends has a great reputation. If she does airbrushing, I can't imagine that it won't look good. (I'm also on SI)

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
Hi! Funny you mentioned house of trends & Michelle - I already have Michelle booked. :) She is really busy that day so i have to go into the salon... I was trying to find someone to come to my house... michelle was the one who actually told me not to do the airbrush cause it can tend to look very fake....i think the word she used was corpse-like.
Thanks for your input :)

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
I have pretty good skin, so a light airbrush works well for me.
And since I have a summer wedding, I have less of a chance of sweating off the airbrush vs. Cnventional makeup

I had my make up airbrushed on for my sister's wedding and it did look 'corpse like.' I ended up adding a lot of blush (it's actually my avatar pic) and it looked good after that

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
It depends. Airbrushing lasts longer if you have oily skin, if not any professional makeup artist can do a traditional makeup application that will last all day. I have a great artist that does both if you want her info, FM me.

If you're doing traditional, don't bother with other trials. Michelle is so well known on SI. Heck, I've never even used her and I know all about her.
I'm wondering, though, does she even do airbrushing?
I've had airbrushing done many times and I've never looked like a corpse...lol. I have oily skin, so traditional makeup is not an option. My skin would drink up my makeup within 5 hours.

I thought the same thing before I had my trials (4 all together with different people). The airbrushing looked very natural on 2 of the trials I had. The one trial that I had regular makeup looked the most like I had too much makeup on. If it's done right, airbrush can look very light and natural

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
I had airbrusing as did all of my bm's and my mom. all loved it and no one looked corpse like. my one friend slept with hers and woke up and it still looked perfect so she wore it out that day!

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
personally, i never wear makeup and airbrush made me the most comfortable, here are some pictures, i def dont think it looks heavy.
Michelle does do airbrushing... but she told me she recommends regular makeup for a more dewy look.. that's what i am going for. I have a trial with her so I will see then. If I don't like it I can always do one more trial and have her try the airbrushing...

Re: Airbrush or Regular???
I did airbrush for my wedding and it was AWESOME!!!!! Didnt feel like I had any makeup on and it lasted ALL DAY!!!
I'm also a sweater (lol) so I wanted to make sure it lasted and it really helped.
