Airbrush Question

Airbrush Question

So I went for my airbrush trial last week.......I took some pics after the trial and I noticed that there were marks on my forehead like fingerprints or something. It looked really weird!!!! I showed my FH the pics and he said I looked a little bit 'orange-y'. Has anyone had this type of experience with airbrush makeup??

Here is a pic from my trial..the airbrush made my skin look flawless and very even toned..I have some freckles and mild roscea..Doesn't look like it in the pictures..

Many will agree that airbrush(when done right) is fantastic.

You look fabulous!!! I love your makeup!

I tend to break out and I have some scarring from acne and the airbrush totally covered everything up. I'm just concerned about the 'fingerprints'.....it looked really weird!

That is odd..I mean I touched my face when it was all over(I have a bad habit) lol and I didn't get 'fingerprints'..

See, I didn't even touch my face! I'm going back to the salon in a few weeks for my hair trial so I have to make sure to bring the camera to show him!!!

Re: Airbrush Question

well i have had two experiences, one good, one not so good. my first trial with airbrush, she put concealer on a couple of marks before airbrushing, and the make-up came off on those spots almost right after i left the vendor's home (and there is no way to fix that without getting airbrushed again, because using regular make-up over airbrushed will just make it worse) . my second trial was with Mia, and other than getting a little shiny soon afterwards (i have super oily skin, though) it didn't budge until i took it off late that night, many hours later. you should definitely NOT be getting fingerprints!!!

Re: Airbrush Question

Airbrush when done right is so pretty, pretty much flawless, but it is hard to find a good airbrush artist. I used a MAC artist, she was awesome, I got married when it was like 95 degrees out and full humid weather and it stayed all night, just loved it, no orange at all just a wonderful glow.My advise would be to seek out another artist for a trial if you can. Like I said Mac Artists are in Macys Dept Stores, they do it on there own, so just tell them what you want, they are all so talented
Good Luck,

sorry, forgot to put that in! yes she did put concealer on (really just under my eyes) but the make-up stayed put this time!! if airbrishing is done correctly, you should need VERY minimal concealer.

Okay......did she apply moisturizer to your face before she applied the airbrush? The guy who did the airbrush gave me moisturizer to put on my face. I also noticed that the makeup settled into the laugh lines around my mouth. Is this normal???
