Airbrush tan - help!

Airbrush tan - help!

Hi ladies,
So I tried the airbrush tan, and I really don't like it. I'm pretty fair and the girl even used the lightest shade they had, but now that I'm home I just don't care for it. I have fair Irish skin and it just doesn't look natural. I wanted a light glow, but it's still a bit dark for me. It just looks very obvious that I went and got a spray tan. When I shower tomorrow morning will some fade or tone down? I like how my legs and arms look, just not crazy about my face and chest. Can I do anything to speed up the process? I'm afraid if I shower right now it will come off in streaks. What's worse is that I'm pretty sure my shower is this week. How much will fade by Sat morning?

PS- I went to one of the popular places who has stores all over LI. I wonder if I can get a partial refund, I did the buy one get one deal...

Hey it will definitely lighten after you shower tomorrow..Don't worry..and by Saturday you should be fine! What time did you go today?

the longer you wait to shower.. the darker you are going to get.

If you don't like the way it looks now, shower asap - a shower has nothing to do with streaking.

it will def fade by saturday a little bit - but try exfoliating, a tan is only the first few layers of skin so the harsher the soap and the more you scrub, the more it will fade.

Once you shower it definitely will look normal. Especially by saturday....because then thats really two showers. I went thurs for a Sat. occasion and by saturday I was fine.

Update: It definitely looks much, much better today! I've never gone before so I'm assuming some of the excess spray 'sits' on the top of your skin. I just took a shower and although she said to use lukewarm, I rinsed with the water being a tad warmer and saw a lot of the color going down the drain. However, when I stepped out it had faded to a much nicer, normal color. I'm still very glad I experimented before the wedding.

Thank you for all if your feedback, I don't know what I would have done :)
