Re: airbrush tanning???

My sister just got airbrushed for her prom at Enchanted day spa in Smithtown for $30. and she looke great. I was her trial and error girl and had a mystic tan so she could see what it looked like and I looked ridiculous! I was ORANGE- Thank goodness it has worn off. The make-up artist from BOCU in commack also tole her that she could have done it. But, I paid 115.00 yesterday for her to be made uo for the prom (just make-up) so who knows how much a tan would cost there!! Give enchanted day spa a try it's only 30.00

My sister got her airbrush tan from Hollywood Tans. They are all over and she said it worked out ok....You have to bring crummy clothes to change in to after b/c it doesn't dry quick and it could stain your clothes. Go for it...and Let us know how it goes!

Yup. They have it at Beach Bum Tanning but I'm not sure that's in LI (they're all over Queens). It's excellent. I have heard that the Hollywood tans one turns you orange but I never had a problem with the mystic one. It is true about the clothes though...i found out the hard way

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will smear tan color all over everybody and your dress! It's an ugly orange too. I did it for w edding I went too and my boyfriend laughed until he cried, then I couldn't get the crap off me. I looked dirty! So I went for a scrub down at a spa and it cost me $100.00! I should have put that in a package to tan at the electric beach instead!

I did the airbrush tan and loved it. I did it for a wedding I went to and never looked better. Don't do it the day before your wedding. You need to do it like 2 or three days so it sets and if you need to go again you are leaving yourself enough time- it depends how tan you want to be. Try now first so if you hate it you aren't taking any risks. I did the booth tan and it was horrible- if you don't rub it in you streak and the tan is VERY uneven. Good luck
