airbrush vs. regular makeup

i know this has been asked before, but is airbrush makeup really that much better than regular? some people i'm considering charge more for airbrush and i'm wondering if it's worth it.

I happened to like the way regular make up felt on me better than airbrushing.....but it could just be my skin, b/c I know sooooo many girls prefer airbrushing. I know it looks amazing in pictures, but I really didn't want to have make up on that I could feel (since I don't wear much make up normally).

I had both airbrush and regular makeup. They first time I had airbrush done it felt heavy, and was happy with how it looked. Therefore I liked they regular makeup better, however my last trial was airbrush and I loved it. It did not feel heavy and looked very natural. I think its more of a personal opinion. HTH

I personally never thought I'd do airbrush until I had a first makeup trial having the regular application and I felt like I had pounds of make up on my face; very cakey feeling. I then had a second trial using airbrush and felt 1000 times better. It felt so light and lasted all day and night! I highly recommend airbrushing so long as the person doing it knows how to do it well. I'm using Jacqueline Nicole

I'm using her too! The thing with airbrushing is that it is a fine mist so it goes evenly on your skin not leaving streaks. It also stays on much better than regular. So even if you sweat it still stays on. Let me be clear that the airbrushing is for foundation only.

Same here. I didn't like the way it felt on my skin and it started to look a little cakey too. It could have been b/c my skin was dry. I'm using JN too and she is awesome but I think I'll be using regular make up.

I'm a big make-up fan. For my trial I did the air brush and loved it. It lasted all day. I'm using Jacqueline Nicole. It was more money but I felt it was worth it.

YES, i think it is because it stays on even if you cry, and it just gives you a really smooth look.

Re: airbrush vs. regular makeup

I had 3 trials - 1 airbrush, 2 regular, and honestly, there was no difference. Everyone said that the airbrush would stay on longer, and it did not - and it's not like I went to some sh!tty m/u artist who didn't know what she was doing. I think it's all a matter of personal preference. For me the airbrush didn't feel or look any different, so I went with the m/u artist who I felt did the best job overall.

Good luck!
