Airbrush vs Regular Makeup

I was just curious if anyone thinks you really need to pay for airbrush makeup or do you think regular makeup will hold all day?

Airbrush vs Regular Makeup - Long Island Weddings

I wanted airbrush simply bc we're doing our pics early, and I need it to last for our ceremony later in the afternoon, and well into the evening. But I've had friends that opted on going with regular makeup and were just fine with it. I guess it depends on skin type. I have oily skin, and the makeup artist used water-based foundation, and it was great! Felt like I had nothing on, and looked better than regular foundation.

Airbrush vs Regular Makeup - Long Island Weddings

I've had reg. makeup done before and loved it, but when I did airbrush at my trial it was a world of difference. It was just so much lighter and didn't feel caked on. I don't think regular makeup is bad at all, but the airbrush made a big difference for me and I loved it

Airbrush vs Regular Makeup - Long Island Weddings

I think airbrish lasts longer and goes on more even. Of also tends to cover better without having that caked on effect. I find it photographs better too. I've had both and would always go airbrush whenever possible.

Airbrush vs Regular Makeup - Long Island Weddings

I think it all depends on your skin type. My mua said airbrushing is better if you have problem skin. It covers everything! I tried out the regular makeup and it felt very light. I had it done around 2pm and then went out that night to the city and it lasted all night with no problems at all. I decided to do regular!
