OK so I wear makeup everyday but not really that into it. What's the difference between airbrush and traditional?
What did you pick and why?
I am a little clueless in thus areea. I want to still look like be but very even skin tone and not worrying about touch ups

I don't wear foundation or that much make up at all but I was just talking to my step mom about this yesterday. Airbrush is foundation being airbrushed on so (sprayed) but it comes in much thinner than if you were to apply a regular foundation which for people who don't wear make up it may feel better on your skin. I always find traditional foundation feels thick. Also, airbrush foundation will likely last longer. HTH!

I barely wear makeup so I was leery about airbrush but when I went for my make up trial I was sold! It went on so quickly and light but offered even more coverage than traditional foundation. I think it's the best way to go! And it lasted forever!!

That is exactly what I heard and as someone who doesn't even wear foundation, that is what I will be looking into when I go to trials.

I don't wear foundation in my daily makeup routine so I decided to do one trial with airbrush, one with traditional. I did not notice much of a difference in the feel as I think the traditional artist did a good job of making it light and not cakey but I felt that the airbrush photographed better and lasted longer for me. I am getting airbrush on my big day. 2 weeks from today!!!

Airbrushing felt lighter to me and stayed on all day long when I went for my trial.

If you get airbrush make sure it's silicone based, this way it will sit on you skin as oppose to getting absorbed in your skin. It also last longer.

I don't wear a lot of make up however foundation is a must bc my skin tone is crazy. I went traditional for my shower and air brush for my friends wedding. I felt I could see the foundation caked on more in the shower pics.

Is airbrush more expensive than traditional? If so, by how much approximately?

Airbrush is definitely the way to go! It is not only about the actual makeup itself, but how it is applied, through an airbrush gun. This is what truly makes the difference! I would say 99% of my bridal clients go the airbrush route and anyone who was weary about trying it always ends up falling in love with it. It feels light on your skin, it lasts all day and it doesn't look cakey. It is also really good with sweat and tears, which both come along with a wedding! It also is an excellent match with digital phtography! I would highly recommend at least trying it at your makeup trial since you already know what regular foundation looks and feels like!

HTH!

Airbrush is light, full coverage and waterproof! My makeup artist even covered my neck, shoulders and arms in the trial for my strapless dress. It looked amazing!

I am not sure how much extra was the airbrush for me but she charged my bms an extra $25 for it. Airbrush is the way to go for the wedding! It stayed on forever, I only had to touch up bc I have annoying skin
