Airbrushing

Airbrushing

For those of you who did airbrushing or are thinking about it...

4 questions:

1. Does it last longer than regular make-up?

2. What is the cost as compared to just doing regular make-up?

3. Does it feel heavy? I am getting married in July and I don't like to wear a lot of make-up?

4. Is there anyone specific that you recommend?

Thanks a mil'!

Re: Airbrushing

It cost about 100 dollars it has been awhile since my trial so I am not positive. I love airbrushing. My friend had the girls in her bridal party have it done and now I am hooked. I am using Jacqueline Nicole who is amazing for my wedding.

Re: Airbrushing

I used airbrushing for my wedding from Maureen Pedala, and I loved it. For me it definitely lasted longer than regular make up. I didn't have to touch it up all day, except for blotting a couple of times. I normally don't wear that much makeup, either, and the airbrush felt so much lighter than regular makeup.

I think it is normally more expensive than regular makeup. If you're interested, send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I'll let you know how much it was.

I highly recommend that you at least do a trial and see if you like it! :)

It lasted WAY longer. I got it done early AM on the day of my wedding, and it was still there the next morning.

2. What is the cost as compared to just doing regular make-up?

I think it was $25 additional for the airbrushing. Totally worth it.

3. Does it feel heavy? I am getting married in July and I don't like to wear a lot of make-up?

It does not feel like there is even anything on your skin. Just like a lght layer of powder, once it dries.

4. Is there anyone specific that you recommend?

I used Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers, but I am not sure if she is still doing weddings Although I did not use her, Jaqueline Nicole has done many brides on here, and does amazing work.

Thanks a mil'!

Re: Airbrushing

I had trials with airbrushing and traditional makeup and liked the airbrushing much more!!

It lasted all day and night the day of my wedding and felt very light. It looked and felt much more natural and lighter than regular foundation. And I never wear foundatioin either.

I hired Denise from Angel Eyes (vendor here)
she charges $100 for traditional and $125 for airbrushing.

Re: Airbrushing

I did the airbrushing trial. I absolutely loved it. Since my trial was at night I actually slept with my makeup on. When I woke up the next day believe it or not the airbrushing was still on and my skin looked flawless. It doesn't feel heavy at all. It only takes 2 minutes to apply. It doesn't look caked on. I think it is costing me an extra $35. I highly recommend it.

I used airbrush for my June 11th wedding and it lasted beautifully in the HOT weather. I used Marie Katz and she did a WONDERFUL job! She came to my house so early and was very pleasant. I definately recommend her. Please FM me for more details!
