Re: Airburshing Help...
Forgive me, but why do you want to cover up your tattoo? I have one on my shoulder too, and it will be showing. For the ceremony I have a shawl that will cover my shoulders, however... would something like that work for you, or do you want it covered for the entire day? Would airbrushing even do the trick? (I wouldn't think it would cover it up enough)... just curious!

Re: Airburshing Help...
I'm not wearing a anything over my shoulders. Really I don't want it showing for pics. I think it takes away from my dress.
Not sure if it will work but I would like to get a trial & see! Thanks for the shall idea!

Re: Airburshing Help...
it'll definitely work! LizLen2003 did a post on this - she too has a tat on her shoulder, and JN covered it up like it was never there..... i think the post is titled: now you see it...
Try dermablend Makeup. I hear it works great on covering tats and scars

Re: Airburshing Help...
Wow, that is definitely a good job with the cover up. but am I the only one who likes their tattoos? (Yes, I have more than one...) I just don't understand why people are covering them up. If you don't want it to show, why did you get it in the first place? I understand that there is a certain elegance that a bride wants to convey on her wedding day, but you still have to be true to yourself in my opinion. If you made the decision to get a tattoo, you must have really wanted it... no matter what the circumstances are... right? I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, I just don't understand the reasoning behind it. Just my two cents!

Re: Airburshing Help...
Well considering I was 16 when I got it no, I didn't think to much about it. I never thought that on my wedding day I would have a nice big tattoo on my shoulder. I'm not covering up who I am..I'm covering up a mistake that I made. One day I would like to get it permently removed. Having it taken away temp on my weddind day will make me very happy! If you love yours that's great! You should show them..for me that's not what I want to do.

Me too, I got a tattoo ten years ago, and if I could have it removed easily and cheaply I would. But, I can't-so I'll be finding someone to cover mine up too. Also, I think Lizlen used dermablend and then had airbrushing seal it to cover hers.

Jacquline Nicole is going to cover my shoulder tatoo too. I love my tatoo just doesn't look right with my wedding gown.

Re: Airburshing Help...
i would never ever want my tattoo showing on the day of my wedding (my dress will cover it- lower back). i purposely got it in a spot where most people will never see it. i got it for me, not for anyone else. i love it, but i do not like it showing. i feel very uncomfortable when i'm leaning or crouching down at school & my back sticks out & the kids might see it. that must sound strange but i guess i'm self-conscious about it.
anyway, that dermablend stuff looks great- let us know how it works!
