Airfare Prices

Airfare Prices

last night my friend who goes to Aruba every year said to check out Continental or JetBlue for flights to Aruba b/c thats what she flys and she always gets a deal (thats where we are going for our HM) we already booked our timeshare we are going Sunday to Sunday so I have no choice but to fly on thsoe days....it looks like if i get lucky Jetblue will be like 160 each way - so thats 320 and i hear the tax is like 80 bucks so i'm guessing like $400 roundtrip for each of us

think i can get a flight cheaper? i just am trying to figure what i need to set aside for airfare while i still have money

Re: Airfare Prices

that doesn't sound bad, considering its winter here and warm there.
Try expedia, travelocity, etc. There might be other airlines that are non stop. I know my sister has taken American

Also try all the area airports if you can (LGA, JFK, EWR)

I read today that US Airways is now charging $25 if you check in a 2nd bag so that they can reduce the amount they spend on fuel...so stay away from US Airways flights if you plan to check in more than 1 bag each!!!

thats true - its 10 a year - when you look at it that way its not so bad hahahaha

i shouldnt complain - we are lucky enough to be able to use timeshare so no hotel bill which i am so so so grateful for BUT i still want to get there for as cheap as possible i want to get there and be able to leave the room - we wont be able to do anything with no money

It's def. not bad. We're flying to California in March for a wedding and it's about $400 each!! aaah. Kayak is good bc it compares expedia, travelocity and all the airline carrier websites. Very extensive.

Nicole that doesn't seem unreasonable in airfare. It is high season for Aruba during that time so you aren't going to get the same kind of prices you would get in the summer.

I had the option of a time share from my coworker, but i wanted to be pampered on my HM I dont think Aruba is that expensive (restaurants, etc.). My sister used to go every year.

that price is pretty decent.

I haven't tried this site myself... but one of my co-workers told me about this site, it tracks airfares for best rates
and will also credit you if the price goes down after you purchase the ticket.

sounds like a great price for a flight.

And yes its great it lasts 10 years, i renewed mine when i was 21 and still have 3 more years until i have to renew again...WOW i remember when i was 21 saying i was going to be depressed when i have to renew mypassport and now im almost there lol

Nicole-try expedia bc for me it gave me the lowest prices and i tried expedia, orbitz(always came out most expensive) sidestep.com, priceline.com, cheaptickets.com, cheapoair.com, kayak.com and tons more. But good price though
