I booked a flight for my honeymoon and the airline gave me a tremendous on-line discount - basically, $1,000 off to go to Hawaii. They tell me that it is probably an error and will call me back of they have to cancel my seats. How much of an argument do i have to keep the tickets since it's their error!? I got a confirmation # and a seat assignment already. ???

Re: Airline Error!
I would fight like hell to keep my price. WHen a store has a sign on the wrong sale item you get it for the sign price- it is their error, not yours. Fight, escalate to a manager, and try the corporate office too. Do not take a low-level reps answer.

I agree. Its their fault. You have the confirmation for the other price.I think they should eat their mistake!

I would think that as long as you have a confirmation number, they have to honor the price you booked at. I would definitely fight for it.

I would fight for it. A while ago Southwest or one of those airlines made a mistake and for 1 hour their website sold tickets for I think all flights roundtrip for 25 dollars. They honored it. (but I don't think legally they had to - but not sure) If you fight hard for it they may cave in
