We'd love to give our parents airfare vouchers as parents' gifts. Our ideal scenario would be to buy a voucher on a major airline that would allow them to use it for travel roundtrip to any place within the continental U.S. so they can choose their destination of choice. Does anyone know where -- if anywhere -- we can get something like this? Thanks all for your help!

Re: AIRLINE GIFT CERTIFICATES
This may sound stupid.. but..
Have you called the airline?
A long time ago my aunt passed on a voucher to me for a free round trip ticket. It had no assigned user and I went to DC (from San Antonio). Came directly from the airline because she was bumped off a flight.

Re: AIRLINE GIFT CERTIFICATES
Liberty Travel has gift certificates that can be purchased I think in any denomination you want, and can pretty much be used for any type of trip you want to book - not just for airfare.
