If you bought or are buying your Airline tickets seperate from the rest of your HM how far in advance did you buy them?
Our HM is in September and I have been looking at the prices of the flights and right now they are the lowest I have seen them. I am not sure if I should wait to see if they go any lower or if I should just buy them now and not take the chance.
Any advice...suggestions?

Re: Airline Tickets for Honeymoon
I booked mine before I booked the hotels but had to because I was using FF miles.
Check out farecast.com though. They have a tool to predict whether fares will go up or down.

Re: Airline Tickets for Honeymoon
I would TOTALLY book now if they are the lowest you've seen. Our flights were as low as 640 or something and FH said that I was crazy and that the prices would be the same.... then 2 days later they went up and Never went back down. I was soooooooo mad!

Re: Airline Tickets for Honeymoon
We saved $600.00 on our tickets and we booked now... we contemplated waiting to see if they would go down more, but we took the deal we got and booked. I feel like they prices will go up in the summer months because most people travel during that time.

If you book through orbitz and the fare goes down they will give you a credit.....
I booked my flights before the hotel but only because my flights were $150 roundtrip each and I knew that they would never go any lower than that....They are normally 700+

I would book now. Once the airline fills a small number of seats, the fuel and cost of flying the plane is covered and they raise the prices from then on out. Or at least that's what they told my dad when he took a travel agent certification.

I booked a couple of months ago for my sept honeymoon and the prices have gone up from that time.
i would get them on orbit if your worried about them going up. Orbit gives you a credit back.

Re: Airline Tickets for Honeymoon
We booked our airline tix for our trip trip in July about a month ago. We slowly filled in the hotels (we're doing 3 cities in France) after, and now we're completely booked! It's a very exciting feeling.
If the price is good, I don't think it can be too early to book it.
