I am getting married in a church that has marble/ stone floors. I would like an aisle runner but am concerned about tripping on it as I walk down the aisle. Can someone explain how this works? AM I better off without one>?

Re: Aisle Runner
That was my church and they told me, due to past issues, that I wasn't allowed to use on. Besides that, I'm glad that I didn't becasue 2 days before my wedding I ended up spraining my ankle so badly that I had to wear sneakers and I was shuffling my feet down the aisle due to the limp and I would have just gotten caught up on the aisle runner.
IMO, the floors of my church were gorgeous and I'm glad that they showed in my pictures. At one wedding I went to, the limo drivers had such a hard time with the tape that they spent 10 minutes trying to get the runner down. At another wedding I went to they put the aisle runner down before the parents and everyone walked down the aisle and the bridesmaids all wore pointy heels and destroyed the runner before the bride even walked down the aisle.
I don't think one is necessary, unless you REALLY want it, but that's just my opinion!
