my dress is a champagne color - and the BMs are going to be in clover/champagne dresses - should i do a white or ivory aisle runner?

I would think that white on champagne might be too bold. Does your runner have any writing on it?
maybe that could be in white to break it up?

definitely ivory, i don't think white would go with the color scheme you seem to be going for.
