Okay....so my wedding is in 6 days and FH is painting the monogram...(yay, hes crafty)...so I was realizing I'm not sure when you roll out the aisle runner.
I am getting married outside at the WCC in the garden area. Do I have it out before the guest invite time? Is it rolled out right before the ceremony begins? (so it doesn't get crumpled by guests?) OR is it rolled out only before the bride? Also, who rolls it out? and if its not done ahead of time how do you tape it down to secure it ??????

The only thing I can help with (I think) is that the runner is rolled out before you walk down the aisle...I have seen the limo people unroll it before but because you are getting married outside you may need to get help from a guest or guests to tape it down. Sorry, I know this really doesn't help

Actually, I believe it's only rolled out before the bride comes in. I'm not positive though.

Hmmm.... I think we're having the runner rolled out once everyone is seated so it doesn't get dirty and crumpled. We're getting married outside at the Rh also.

This is a really good question. Thinking on the weddings I've been to, the aisle is already down when guests arrive. WCC also told me that the Florist is usually the one who provides the runner...but others tell me its the limo company. Perhaps the limo co. provides it and the Florist rolls it out before the bridal party walks down, laying rose petals along the aisle.

I think you can go either way. If you want it down before guests come so they can actually see it, you can probably rope it off and have guests use the outside aisle to get into their seats. Then your bridal party and you would be the only ones to actually walk on it before the ceremony begins.
