is there a such thing as a super wide aisle runner? the reason i ask is b/c i am getting married at the RH (JT skylight room) and I dont really like that you can see the marble on each side of the aisle runner - i want an aisle runner that goes from chair to chair - so no marble shows....and then i want to put candles, probaby in hurricane vases of various heights all along the aisle and then some rose petals scattered along the side as well.....i think it would like nicer that way - instead of the rose petals and hurricane vases on the marble.....does anyone know if there are aisle runners like this? or do you think its a dumb idea??? to be honest, im not crazy about walking down a marble aisle - and its all i can think of......any ideas?? suggestions??

what do you mean by from chair to chair, do you mean that this will be underneath the chairs too? if so then that wont be considered a runner anymore...im sure you can get this custom made though

no - not under the chairs.....i've seen pics of JT ceremonies and there is a space of marble on each side of the runner and then after that space of marble is where the chairs are on each side......so i would want something that almost touches the outside legs of the chair closest to the aisle - so that the whole middle where I will walk down will be covered - do you understand what im getting at?

yeah, i guess its ok if some of the marble shows....i just dont like when its skinny and your train is hanging off the aisle runner - if it wasnt that marble i wouldnt mind so much - but im just not crazy about the floor in that room - only b/c its my wedding ceremony - otherwise i LOVE marble floors......ohh i dont know! i dont even know where to start.....thank god i have time!

i was just teling FH how I found one that was 60 inches, so he says, thats good Nik, 60 inches is as wide as you are tall....next time we go to JT make sure you remember to lay down in the aisle.....LMAO....i dont know why i thought that was so funny, i think i am delirious today

I never noticed, but now that you brought it up i see what you are saying.... are you going to put candles on the floor, that makes me nervous... i know id do something stupid and my train would catch on fire or something
