Aisle runner paint

I bought a fabric-type runner to personalize and was wondering if anyone knew the best type of paint to use on it. Fabric paint or non-poreous paint or something else.

I would buy fabric paint. They have some available in 'spray' form, that way if you have a stencil for your monogram, and lettering, you can easily do it!
