They have a special non-slip backing, and their designs are GORGEOUS.
Mine was more simple, but it was brown to match our color scheme and hide the ugly floor!
(They also designed the runner for the wedding when Trista & Ryan got married on The Bachelorette)
how long before your wedding did you order? i know you said it before and also said you ordered a bit late so thats why i would like to know
I ordered mine about 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding and they were able to accommodate my order ... but i would allow a month or so to be safe. If you contact them, I'm sure they'll give you all the info on timing.
We dealt with Jennifer, and she was wonderful.

So does that mean they are going to be $$$?
Most people probably would consider them to be $$$ ... but it was worth it to me. Their quality is fantastic.
The other companies use this really thin see-through material that almost looks like a dryer sheet to me! I've heard horror stories from so many girls about their Aisle Runners ripping and tearing!
