Aisle Runner Question

Hey girls! This might be the dumbest question EVER but I'm completely confusing myself... I'm painting my runner myself with a quote and a monogram and I don't know if I should have the words facing the alter or facing the doors where I enter...hopefully someone can help me answer this question lol

I would think you should have it facing the alter so when you walk in and ppl are looking forward they would be abl to read it easily. Also, you photographer will probably catching some shots of you from behind so they can easily catch the aisle runner also. I'm probably not the best person to answer this seeing as though i haven't even done mine yet but I hope it makes a little sense

I agree...should be facing where the people would be able to read it. That's how I'll be doing mine...

Def facing the doors...Your guest should be and will be reading it as they come into the ceremony location. That way your pictures can capture it from behind you when u are walking down the aisle

LOL

I had this same question. My isle runner reads
'And they lived happily ever after'

I wasn't sure if it made more sense to face the alter or the doors for the guests to read as we're leaving.
Any suggestions for me???
