Anyone thinking of buying an aisle runner for the ceremony? I am getting married at my hall and ran across this website for aisle runners. I love the mongram one, but I am wondering if it is a waste of money. Has anyone done this or know someone that has done this??
if you are going to use a limo service, they normally supply the runner for the church. the limo company i am using supplies it and they are responsible for laying it out for me.

WOW..they are very pretty....however I feel for 30 minutes of time it wouldn't be worth the money...
and yes, both the hall and limo will supply it...
I could probably find something better to use the money towards..IMO...

i am almost positive i am going to get a runner from there....WHY NOT! i mean, in the grand scheme of things, whats an extra few bucks. : ) i convinced myself because we are kinda gonna pass it down to everyone else who gets married....like a new tradition!

OMG, I love the one that says Grow Old With Me, The Best Is Yet To Be!! That is the song we are using for lighting the unity candle. Did they have prices listed? I didn't see any.

Re: Aisle Runners
Do you think I could make my own aisle runner? We're not using limos, so I can't get it from there. I was thinking of buying extra fabric that my chuppa will be decorated witand make the runner from that. Since we're going to be married outdoors, weather permitting, I was thinking of hot glueing some silk rose petals on it for color. Do you think that would look ok?

I really like the pre-printed roses, but I think I'm going to decorate mine myself. My sister bought one when she got married last year and saved it for me, so I think I'm just going to buy or make a stencil and paint it myself.

Re: Aisle Runners
I've seen this site before. I love the idea but it seems like so much $$$ for something you only use once. It's nice though because they are fabric and I'm pretty sure most isle runners provided by limo companies are plastic, aren't they? My priest told us to consider not having the plastic isle runner because he's seen people slip and fall on them. That kind of makes me nervous.
