Aisle Runners?

Can you ladies show me pics of your DIY aisle runners? Can you also help me with directions on how to do one, and how much it will cost? TIA!

Re: Aisle Runners?

I just finished my DIY aisle runner last night. I bought it from AC Moore for $30 plus 40% off. Michaels only has the plastic ones. This one is made of paper and it's somewhat see through.

I printed the fonts on a large format printer and traced it with a sharpie (red and gold). If you don't have a large format printer, you can print 11x17 and tape it together. The smudges you see are not on the aisle runner, it's on my table. Make sure you put several layers of paper underneath so the sharpie doesn't bleed onto the table like mine.

This is at the other end of the runner. They're spaced about 20' apart. I'm getting married at the RH and I measured their aisle to be 32' long. If you're doing a design at either end, I would position them accordingly. Hope this helps.

I'm so excited to see how your runner came out!!!!!!! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!

After sending you all those pics and links, I STILL haven't made mine!!!!! I think I'll have to make it a priority for when FH goes on his next business trip weekend. That way I can lay it out all over the apt without worrying I have too much wedding stuff in the way!

Thank you so much for all your help. I waited till the last minute to do this because I can't make up my mind on what I want.
All I have to say is, start early!
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

It really doesn't take that long to ink. That does not include the time spent on designing and purchasing the materials. God knows how long I spent thinking about it.
