ok.. so my church aisle is very long.. so i need a 100 ft runner i think. not sure if that's the length of what the limo company provides us.. but i kind of wanted one that says something on it. I know i may not have enough time or $$ for that matter to order one personalized... so i was thinking something with a pre printed quote.. or i could attempt to DIY my own.
so 2 things..
1 for girls who ordered... where did you get them from? and who had the best prices...
and 2.. for those who DIYed their own.. how did you do it? wat kind of runner did u get and where? and what did u use to paint/sew on what you used...etc?? TY!!!!!!!!!! i completely forgot about my runner til we met with the priest friday..lol

Re: aisle runners??
I did my own....here are two pics I bought the actual runner from Walmart...they sell them at AC moore and Michaels. Make sure you get the one that is dryer sheet material...do not get a plastic aisle runner... Here are the directions. Any questions please fm me!
First thing i did was i measured the aisle at my church which was around 70-72 feet long. I converted it to inches 72x12=864 inches and it is 36 inches wide. I picked all of the stuff i wanted to have on the aisle runner which was our quote, our names, the date and our monogram oh and the double hearts. I played with fonts in microsoft word and decided on the Lucinda Cursive. I made the size of the font pt 350 and wrote the quote out which printed on approximately 19 pgs which you then have to fit the words together and tape them together. Then where you place them is your personal preference. I started the quote 10 feet from the alter. I then made sure the quote was lined up and centered and i left approximately 18 inches between each line of text. The quote took up approximately 7 feet. Then i went down another 10 feet and put the monogram. then another 10 feet put the names, heart and date. To put it on the aisle runner: i cleared off my dining room table and used the engraved lines on the side as the table as my leveling guide. I taped plain white paper across the surface of the table so nothing went thru onto the table. Then in sections (the quote, then the monogram then the names) i taped them to the table...looked it over so it was spread out and made sure it looked right (check with a tape measurer). then i taped the aisle runner down on top of the words (make sure there is no loose fabric!). and with permanent markers i began outlining the letters and then filling them in. It's all marker!! Some use fabric paint but i think the marker looks just as good and dries much faster. After i filled in each word i went over it again cause im anal. Then wait 5 minutes, lift the runner and keep going. It was SOOOOOOOO easy. Im sorry this is so long but i hope it helps. If you need anything else clarified, just ask!! Good luck!
