hey girls! my friend is going to alaska (cruise)---what should she see and do? she'd like to take a helicoptor ride--any recommendations on a good company?? TIA!

My FH's family lives in AK and my advice is to definitely get out and see some sights. Don't just hang out around the shopping like I see people in Ketchikan doing. Creek Street in Ketchikan is neat and should be seen, but get out to the Totem Park too.

My Uncle used to live in Alaska and he always suggested that visitors go to the National Parks - you'll see wild life that is unimaginable. Also, check about whale watches - my brother did this up in the Canadian area/Washington/Oregon and he loved it - the animals you'll see are breathtaking!

Alaska is gorgeous. She should go to the zoo and one of the wildlife preserves. Also their a few glacier cruises she can go on. I haven't done one but my friend went. She said it was a lot of fun and the pictures she took were amazing!
