Album Help

Ladies-

I started to pick out pictures for my wedding album... and I am sure you all had the same problem- so many good ones to choose from.

So I need some advice-

was your album more formal (not include friend shots/ dancing pics)?

did you include 1:1 with you and each of your bridal party and your hubby with each of his groomsmen?

did you include your bridal party walking down the aisle?

how many family shots? hubby with is parents, hubby with his entire family, you and hubby with his parents, you and hubby with his entire family- etc?

anything else to nix?

I could really use some insight- any suggestions thanks!!!

Re: Album Help

For me, I included pics from the reception of guests having fun because I wanted pics that reminded me of the wonderful day and friends who added to this. I picked a few of the most interesting of these pics not all because we limited ourselves to 80 pics because of the cost.

We did a full spread of 2 pages for me coming into the church which included pics of my 2 MOH, my cousin giving me away, DH look when he sees me. So we did use those pics but it fitted into the context of that layout.

If you have a large wedding party and have limitations on the num,ber of pics you can use, I don't think I'd do a photo of each couple, but perhaps if there's a shot with several in it, use that.

On other threads, it's been suggested to divvy the book into sections to help choose pics and these don't have to be equal in the number of pics - - just to help in selections. So a) getting ready; b) at church/ceremony; c) formal shots; d) reception.

In my photo lib there are pics of my album. Maybe that would help give you an idea. Also, I picked shots I liked, tried to get severa of the wedding party, family but did not try to get each person in every situation. I figured if the people important to you appear at least once, especially w budget in mind, that works.
